I got to play a joyful game of Vast: The Crystal Caverns this afternoon. It was wonderful, the feedback was great, and the fellowship was outstanding. We were not rushed and able to savor the moments. Thanks to @lordoftheboard.bsky.social @jcw.gay @norsehound.bsky.social !

By far the game I saw at GenCon that I’m most excited about is @leder.games upcoming design from Alita Robertson called Kart. It looks beautiful, and the gameplay sounds smooth and fun. Was super cool to have Alita give me an overview.
When things succeed you celebrate it with the people you love. I am really honored to be among such great people as we move Leder Games into the future. Seeing their hard work pay off at Gen Con has been just lovely.

Visited the @leder.games booth at #GenCon got to see the sneak peek of KARTS! Try to balance speed with control as you gather your friends and race down the hill. First to get to the bottom wins. There are fun upgrades for your cart and objectives that’ll add some craziness to it. #boardgames

Cardboard Time@cardboardtime.bsky.social · last wk.Kart ( @leder.games) sees players cobbling together speed machines that get progressively harder to control as they speed up. In our first play we slammed into hedges, tossed mud balls and water balloons at each other, and nearly slammed into obstacles at top speed. Can't wait for the next run!

Just played a game of Kart! that made me laugh until I cried. One of us couldn’t turn right, we both got stuck in the mud, and Alita beat me at the end by jumping over me in a desperate last move.
