I saw @andrewmale.bsky.social ‘s review for Primal Scream’s “Vanishing Point” from Select magazine posted online yesterday. It took me right back to reading it at 6th form college - how the words on the page enthralled, and made perfect sense when I first listened to the album.

more video messing... i realise these dont make much sense without movement or sound but i feel like im getting somewhere - its often a haphazard collision but a screengrab can show it looking like a painting; it has a quality i like these less abstract than others cos its about dance

Oh well, it's my last week of summer holidays. My neighbour asked me about retiring from work earlier this week (we're both mid 50s), but tbh (a) I still like teaching, (b) I get such a lot of holidays its like i've been retired for the last 5wks already (I know, i'm such a dick 🙃) cheers!
