Just two weeks to BiCon 2026 in Nottingham and online. Confirmed sessions include Cat Cafe (With Consenting Catpeople), Making Bi/Pan Pride Bracelets, two Poly ones, Sahaja Yoga, Speed Friending, Trans/Non-Binary Safe Space, and Becoming Disabled. (Not all will be online)

I've been taking part in Amnesty Campaigns for nearly 30 years. I even helped run an Amnesty International Club at my school. It's the reason I studied Human Rights Law at Uni. This is so extremely disappointing. "We'll stand up for everyone's human rights unless they threaten to sue us."

Forecasting the weather for somewhere in the UK a week ahead is never exact, but it's looking good on the Met Office's site for Fri-Sun in Nottingham: sunny intervals, max 22 degrees, low chance of rain...

One reason I could talk about BiCon being the largest bi+ event in the UK this year: Bi Pride have just made public their decision to cancel their event. It was going to be on 31st August in London. May all their 'spoons' return to enable next year's Bi Pride to happen.

There is a plan to have a one hour online meet this coming Wednesday evening, 23 July, for people coming to BiCon. It would be a combination of "meet some other people who are going" together with a theme of "how would I ideally like BiCon to be for me, what do I want to get out of going...
