I'll answer this right now. Yes. I don't use AI tools. At most my interactions with AI at this point are if I get the often wrong summary from Google Search. I'd be willing to give up the trash service from any of these AI companies. Their product is the closest thing I can think of to a demon.

Giving Up The Ghost. Just finished this short story by @swankmotron.com about the formation of the Ghost Dogs, a former Kell Hounds Company. Really enjoyable and great look into the logistical nightmare of a new merc company. Discovered thanks to @bigred40tech.bsky.social and their YouTube review.

Man. I've been rereading some Dark Age books for a project I'm working on, and I will say the constant tonal changes and just wild character jumps are always jarring. I like a lot of elements of the Dark Age, but it's definitely got its warts. #battletech
