Mouth breathing through Canada BC 🇨🇦 #Giant FastRoad E+ EX Pro Bicycle I make bike videos on YouTube https://links.keekay.cloud

Last year I sprained my ankle pretty bad and wasn't able to run for like 2 months. I was worried that I might lose the motivation to run after losing that much fitness. Its been one year since I was able to run again and I have run 200 miles and rode my bike more than a 1,000 miles since then.

This point will be at the low or mid end, not the upper end for rich people. $10000 bikes do not last 10x as long as $1000 bikes. There is no real change in the durability of cars based on price.

I was biking across SGR and some scooter guy came off the sidewalk and cutting into my way Him: "oh sorry, go ahead" Me: "no worries, you go on I'm slow today" Him: "ok thanks" Next red light Him: "we're turning left, you go ahead" Me: "thanks" Now let's explore that interaction in cars... 1/2

Il avait juste peur que la vérité éclate enfin. On sait que Mediapart est vendu aux lobbys du train et du vélo contre le seul vrai mode de transport écologique, la catapulte!

Bicycles! Bicycles have gotten insanely better in the last 40 years, light weight materials, fashionable designs, so many form factors, so many avenues for fun and fitness while also varying levels of affordability and accessibility for all physical abilities. I love bikes (fuck cars tho 😅)

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

air travel is one of those experiences that has gotten monotonically worse over my entire lifetime

question though: has *anything* in the last 40+ years genuinely gotten *better*?

like, there's *more* stuff, sure, but is any of it *better*?

I had a track R6 back in the day, so I do have a soft spot for those screaming in-line 4s. On the whole, modern motorcycles are pretty great! Lot of neat beginner bikes too which wasn't the case back in the 2000s. Too many parallel twins for my liking, but still enough variety.

For anyone who does not believe that there is a federal role for biking and walking safety, the facts show that the National Highway System contributes disproportionately to bicyclist and pedestrian deaths ~50% of pedestrian deaths are on the National Highway System www.datawrapper.de/_/6atcR/

Pedestrian Deaths on the National Highway System Over Time | Created with Datawrapper

Over the last decade pedestrian deaths on the National Highway System (NHS) have increased at a faster rate than pedestrian deaths not on the NHS. In 2014, 39% of pedestrian deaths were on the NHS but...

Looks like it's a monitor issue it's cycling full-screen test colours and a message listing some hardware components gonna see if powering off and disconnecting for a bit will fix it. If not, goodnight, my sweet prince. You served me well and were genuinely decent for how cheap you were
