It's surreal to say out loud. But in 48 hours, Abdul El-Sayed will have surmounted $60+ million in outside spending to become the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, and will be on the path to becoming the first Muslim American Senator in history. What a time to be a Michigander.
I find it troubling that the largest political spender in Michigan's Democratic primary, by far, is a pro-war lobby that assesses candidates not according to their plans for Michiganders, but whether they'll reliably sponsor planes and bombs. My latest: www.freep.com/story/opinio...

Dan Goldman did not just refuse to acknowledge the genocide in Gaza. He also refused to acknowledge the occupation. Kind of hard to believe that folks are still committed to that extreme level of dishonesty and denialism.
