there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

How did I get into server backend stuff? I used to have a simple static HTML website but some idiot hotlinked an image costing me bandwidth so I learned enough to serve his site's users Goatse and everyone else the legit image. That's how I got started with backend stuff.

Are they also going to make them wear a patch on their jacket? Also, taking their passports? So they don't want them in the country, but they want to prevent them from leaving the country? Makes you wonder "why," doesn't it? (Yes, we already know why)
