Iran and Oman have reportedly agreed that all ships transiting Hormuz have to go through an Iran-controlled corridor, and are finalizing tolls of 3, 5, or 7%. This would close off the path outside Iranian waters the US encouraged ships to use during the MOU, then started bombing again to keep open.

This morning in Windsor, Canada is having an all-Canadian ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Gordie Howe International Bridge (scheduled to open Monday). A joint binational celebration was canceled after Trump hit Canada w/ an additional 50% tariffs, saying Canada discriminates against American goods.

When the Californians assure Canadians that we’re all friends and they are on our side, won’t we please buy their wine and come back to visit.

Was recently at an intl conference where I ran into some Americans I hadn’t seen in 2 yrs. When asked why I hadn’t been down and I told them I’m boycotting the states, they chuckled, made gentle remarks about how Trump’s Canada stance was silly. Americans have no idea how pissed off Canadians are.
