It’s almost like the Blazers are trying to rage bait the city council into voting against the funding bill in order to manufacture reasons to leave. At this point that’s not hard to understand. At least it’s not hard for me. Dundon is trying to play a game of chicken.

ultimately so funny that rip city mgmt’s approach in these emails was “we would rather die than create a written public record of anything we say or do” and then their lawyer just forwarded the whole thing to the City

These are reasonable questions that Dewayne Hankins, Tom Dundon, and the Blazers should have absolutely no problem answering publicly when they are asking for $600M of PUBLIC money. The Blazers are not negotiating in good faith. Might be time for a neutral arbitrator, tbh katu.com/news/investi...

Dewayne Hankins asked Blazers fans to show up to Portland City Council tomorrow at 9:30am: "That’s why it’s so important that the City Council hear from you. This is bigger than basketball. It’s about Portland’s future." Ok. How about: "Ask the team to share details so we can make a deal"? Good?
