MAGA neighbor was telling me about her trip to the Gulf Coast. She kept calling it the Gulf of Mexico; in front of children! Where do I report this crime? The FBI? Maybe ICE? Or just the sheriff, he's a good MAGA type. Calls himself a constitutional sheriff.
Noticed that the world map in the elementary school down the street still shows the historically correct Gulf of Mexico. When will the Governor of Utah mandate updates to all school maps? What a waste of money that unfunded mandate will be. Ignorance is strength!

I'm wondering when we'll see an executive order forbidding external communications from the Bureau of Labor Stats. No inflation report means no inflation, right? No report of decreasing employment means all is well, right? Just like with no bird flu reports; ignorance is strength.
Historically when the debt ceiling was reached, Treasury would pay debts owed in a first-in first-paid sequence, since they had no way to prioritize some invoices over others. I'm betting Musk is going to be able to prioritize payments. Debt first, then favorites. No money for others until budget.
