Analysis from Hancock and Kelly on Fox 2: Brian Williams had a chance but stumbled. No one likes Bill Eigel. They felt vote for Bell was repudiation of Bush. On ballot amendments in MO, if there is money on the NO side it almost never passes. It's a bad night for Mike Kehoe.
It's kind of wild that earlier on the news some guy from the Missouri Association of Realtors spoke about how amendments 4 and 5 were shot down so handily they shouldn't ever be brough up again, and I was like "Welcome to the resistance realtor guy. Please sit next to the reps from UEFA and ABC."
These Republican amendments went down in flames. WE WON!
I know this is a hot take on here (and I would have voted for Cori if I lived in MO-1), but depending on the rest of the results, I think it will be a tough sell to say AIPAC won Bell the election this time if it stays anywhere close to 66-30. Like the amendment votes, the people have spoken.
It's good to know 4 out of 5 Missouri voters understand principles from week two of a collegiate economics course (Sales taxes are regressive.)
