What’s the most widely enjoyed food that you can’t stand, not because of allergies or anything but just because you hate it?

The whole Compulsion Games situation fucking sucks man. They were put in such a tough situation and still made one of the most original ideas to come out of a bigger size team in a long, long time. Only for them to get put in the wood chipper.

Huh...maybe we should talk more about celebs who have chosen to live unsustainably to their income. so they start podcasting, but that doesn't go well either. But one day a buddy of yours who grifts online tells you how much he makes. But that's just me speculating.

Technical parameterized realism is one of the easiest things to systematize so the labor market for realism is much deeper with lots of documentation

my one big takeaway from this years pile of Showcases is that Unreal Engine 5 has co-opted or sort of, I dare say, polluted the visual language of games, where nothing stands out theres a kind of mediocrity that comes with being "photorealistic I guess". PBR substance everywhere, but not distinct
