according to The Kerryman's report of Dolly's trip to Ireland in 1990 she paid a visit to an empty St. James's Church in Dingle and spontaneously belted out Amazing Grace, which means she is basically the spirit queen of Other Voices

Earlier in the week she had done a little shopping in Dingle buying a hat in McKenna's drapery. She also visited St. James' Church of Ireland in Dingle where the empty pews were treated to a version of Amazing Grace the likes of which was never heard there before. "It was sweet and beautiful and it was so nice I just felt like singin' — I couldn't help it," she said.
