Today I was at a meeting for a progressive law student group and one of the officers advised us to look up a really crucial decision that happened before we we born: Bush v. Gore
a little while ago I had shown my youngest a clip from pinky and the brain and tonight out of nowhere they were like "can I watch pinky and the brain?" So I found an episode and it was just them doing a full episode parody of the 1972 musical film Man of La Mancha complete with musical numbers
so I stopped drinking at home when I started law school three weeks ago, I just knew it wasn't going to be feasible at all for me to even have A beer at home in the evenings, and it has honestly been very easy simply because I am doing readings every night from getting the kids in bed at 8 to 10:30
very funny that because of the charlie kirk thing we all know that when It Happens you have a lot of leeway about what you post and if you get fired for it you can call a lawyer, take a vacation for six months and come back to Big Money No Whammies

The policymakers who are actually restricting trans people's participation in competitive sports are very openly also against trans people being protected, having full rights or being able to serve in the military, and that's why it's frustrating when people frame them as discreet issues.

if centrists didn't want to be put in a situation where the democrats have to reform the electoral system and judiciary within the first two years of the next president's term, perhaps they should have done it when it wasn't an emergency. if we do not do it, we will die under worse than Jim Crow.
