the reason i like mamdani is because he actually tries to solve problems by identifying and acting on the root cause, rather than simply arresting people. supply-side solutions have a much greater chance of success, as opposed to more costly, counter-productive lifestyle policing

the lying in general has gotten out of control. we really should hold elected officials to some sort of standard in this country, but that seems to be beyond our collective dignity, i guess
