I suspect that among all the other very real blockers to "AGI" is the fact that long before Claude et al reach anything resembling it, they will go completely insane trying to reconcile the "tension worth naming" between knowledge & experience, and the encoding of both in data ("in-form-ation")

the weather station data is not aggregated often enough to update the weather apps on the really startling speed with which this heatwave has rolled in today in Berlin. 11:20 -> 31.3°C 11:50 -> 33.9°C (but the apps still say 31°C) p.s.: It was 20°C at 7:00 12:00 and apps still not updated to 34°C

I know it's "old fashioned", but I do NOT trust "ai agents" AT ALL. When I use them (coding, or anything else that isn't just a chat), I make them work step-by-step. At MOST I let them read/write files (in their little sandbox) and that's IT. I do all git commits. I do any necessary deleting, etc…
