In honour of @bottomblitzweek.bsky.social coming back for another year, I'm promoting When the Warmth is Gone again! I wrote it in a fugue state for my first BB week and then revamped it a year later!

I just realised I never made a solo post for When the Warmth, which is a crime, since I think it's my second favourite fic I've written, and now feels appropriate since I just edited the whole fic and rewrote several sections. archiveofourown.org/works/58698241

When the Warmth Is Gone Will I Still Be Yours - Blitzø considers himself lucky that his uncommon anatomy means he's never experienced a rut before. Some would argue the opposite, but he doesn't need to lose himself to his base instincts to have absolutely mind blowing sex, he can manage just fine on his own. So never having a rut doesn't seem like much of an issue, at least until he suddenly learns that his anatomy doesn't just mean he can't experience ruts. He can go into heat, he knows because it's happening right now, and that's not even the worst part. His body thinks he's mates with the last person in hell he wants to see. - Written for Day 4 of Bottom Blitz Week 2024
