Was musing the other day and for me, 100% of the appeal of Andrealphus is that he's The Worst. He's Stolas, if Stolas sucked. I honestly wouldn't surprised if that was the original sketch concept of his character, Stolas But Fully The Bad Guy to keep messing with the pilot energy somewhat.

The big tragedy at play is that in a lot of online spaces, positivity never attracts the algorithm in a meaningful way. You're more likely to connect by rage-mongering and tricking others with performative words and actions. Not even changed behavior can attract a proper amount of human eyeballs.

There’s a danger to callout posts that isn’t addressed enough but it’s arguably the biggest one: lack of updates indicating changed behavior. Publishing proof of someone being shitty but not awarding the same effort when accountability is taken tricks even well-intended folk into fostering outrage.

People are so Capitalism-pilled that they see "user number big" as preferable + a reason Bluesky is "lesser" than other social media. But consider this: I don't want to be in a bigger, angrier, shittier crowd of people. I want to be in the smaller, curated, better behaved and more loyal crowd.
