I loved drawing this one, hated painting it, but I lost my original reference for it! It's a sad world. But it doesn't matter- I'm proud of this piece!

When I saw this drawing ages back I absolutely had to draw some characters from my DND game in the same scenario- it reminds me so much of being a kid playing in my moms garden with a neighbor kid, even if she didn't want to garden there.

So I grew up watching Code Lyoko and I think those influences are clear through most of my art, but this ones very directly inspired by it. I genuinely can't tell you how excited I am for the new season in the works! Anyways, this is my goober's long term goal- the virtual lighthouse!

Kids need/deserve traumatic films. Films that show death or lasting consequences that aren't resolved almost instantly. Fear, anger, grief and frustration should be part of kids movies. Kids arent stupid, they feel big emotions just like adults, they deserve to see those experiences reflected back.
