Great chance to post my all-time favorite headline
Nick Pettigrew@nick-pettigrew.bsky.social · 8mo agoI'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.
Me making a paracord bracelet for a friend with significantly smaller wrists than mine: This is wrong, this doesn't feel right. I have to remeasure this. Why does this look like it will be far too small?
What I'm hearing is that everyone needs to run this game 24/7 and just completely destroy the devs bank account.
IGN@ign.com · 14h agoThe developer behind Teach My Little Sister How to Drive, a driving generative AI-powered instruction sim, has been spending $1000 a day to keep the demo running, and now, they've had to take out a bank loan to keep up. https://bit.ly/4rWqe8g
Did you forget? You can't forget. Not really. Not ever. But it's always good to remember. Electric Feel Friday.
Sulphur-crested Cockatoo trying (and failing) to break into our neighbour's jacaranda seed pods. #birds
I know it's really... terminally online to compare [x world event] to [y movie], but holy fucking SHIT this is just... yeah...
Fuck. No wonder I'm such a fat fuck. Started trying to log my daily caloric intake. I'm not being hyper accurate but my "limited" diet (small meals, limited snacks, and skipping dinner) apparently nets me 7500-8500kjs. Daily average for a healthy adult is 8700.
Remember, embodying the spirit of straight animals is actually more gay.
My favorite thing to do is make things I like then watch my audience be shocked. The amount of times I hear "I didn't even realize it was x head" I use the kemono or the bespoke hyena hybrid, depending on my setting. I like humanoid furries :3 #secondlife
I thought of this pun and now you all get to suffer.
Am I the only one who sees the horrifying nature of this promotion? "Spend $60 on a slab of beer and you *might* get a $30 grocery store gift card to feed your family!"
Last night I found out I was fired shortly after filing a worker's comp claim and reporting bigotry at work. I need help to get back on my feet, as even if I pursue retraining, it'll be a >20% pay cut! #transcrowdfund gofund.me/301fc89d4

So I have a foolproof way to see just how big of a thing a new furry waifu drop actually is when I see it gaining traction on social media: I check the tag count. Buck is medium-to-low. Barely a blip. Flash in the pan.
How do I explain to people I have like... Anti-autism? Like, most people understand common autism symptoms as disliking things that neurotypical people have no strong negative feelings about like sounds or textures, etc. While I tend to not be bothered by things that neurotypicals dislike...
secret early I'm a Dragon update! #comic will go up on the site later today www.dhscomix.com/index.php?p=... what possible motive would they have to just make things up?? money????
This was only meant to be a sketch but I love Caff too much to stop
Look what they did to my boy 😔
Ah yes very helpful. This is the answer I wanted. At 6 in the morning. Waiting for the ferry that departs roughly every half hour.
