As many have pointed out, open science methods don't make research strong. But I think they function like nutrition labels--they let you see what's in the study and decide whether you want to consume it. Some will still be happy with a diet of junk, but others will demand healthier evidence.

Excited to share that I successfully proposed my thesis yesterday! Extremely grateful for the guidance my committee provided, both yesterday and over the past several months (@raymopt.bsky.social @matt-calamia.bsky.social & Ryan Hill), and looking forward to getting started on analyses very soon!
