This study by @drsarahsperry.bsky.social & colleagues shows that in bipolar disorder, better mood and higher daily steps predicted each other from day to day, while more intense physical activity improved next-day mood but was not influenced by mood. www.nature.com/articles/s44...

Very proud of Janan’s work on this project! Beyond the concept of urgency, I believe it has important implications for how we think about “reactivity” indices in EMA.
