in a sort of vignette, I was doing yard work with a fancy leaf sucking / mulching contraption, and an electric delivery truck strolls silently past and some neighbors walk by and we chat and for a second it felt like a vintage movie where these were the halcyon future world days
this is a very mundane design example, of course, but I needed a quick bracket printed and basically just spoke it into existence no CAD, no modelling, just ask
for all that we can condemn *everything else* I actually do think it's cool to make a weird product that is utterly foreign to the marketplace I actually suspect that, in the decades after everything, the few that didn't blow up will become relatively valuable as strange rare collector cars

I don't really drink pop, so I assume this will either kill me or make me completely unstoppable / immortal there's only one way to find out
the thing is, for the 2-6 weeks I do it per year, I actually really like crunch working late, music loud, stuff happening, quick decisions, no meetings, small team are all cylinders firing. it's just fun and satisfying to do a lot rapidly and be competent together

quasi-related, do you ever notice that super smart characters in TV shows and media end up with some strangely dumb blind spot as a punchline? once you start noticing it, it's everywhere and I think viewers internalize that 'super smart' inherently has that type of weakness or something
