I had to code and pronounce a time of death on a respiratory therapist colleague. There's a memorial plaque for her outside the emergency department to this day. I wrote and re-wrote my will. I will never forgive these ghouls trying to rewrite history and deny our experience.

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

A long time ago I had the pleasure of writing on a wacky little show called ZOO, where we did stuff like have an invisible snake eat one of our heroes, so she has to cut herself out of it. One of my favorite sequences I’ve ever written. And our cast and effects folks did such an amazing job!

Having now seen THE ODYSSEY twice— once at AMC, once at the Coolidge, both in non-IMAX 70mm— my take is that format and screen size matter far less than seeing it at a theater with a trained and skilled projection staff.

At IGN’s SDCC party, it was awesome to catch up with Samantha Sloyan, who I went to elementary school and high school with. Sam’s always been a great actress and I’m so happy everyone knows that now thanks to her Flanagang work (Midnight Mass, come on!) and shows like The Pitt.
