I think one reason data center outrage is so pronounced is people spent decades recycling and composting and otherwise scrimping to offset energy use and protect clean water, and the second we hit an inflection point for cheap electricity the banking industry said we’re taking all of it, fuck you

Conspiracy Theory: The real deep state (Thiel et al) are working to keep 47 in office until the end of Sept- mid Oct. Then JD will step up and claim he deserves a full term to prove he's less mean and terrible. And that just might work on the peons. Note he'd be less wackado but still dangerous.
