Hello I have made this due to a mutual having issues with some folks on here forgetting this fact and shouting at him for it. Feel free to use it as a handy PSA x

Ok I’ll bite what’s the Dunwich Horror
Not to be trans or anything but today I went to the doctor’s with a visibly swollen wrist and got asked if I’d had “any genital surgeries”
Not to “no atheists in a foxhole” about it but the last couple of days have got me, a person who doesn’t believe in bad luck whatsoever, clinging desperately to the idea that bad things come in threes
A lie I like to I tell our cats is that I hatched them from an egg. Don’t any of you go telling them that I didn’t hatch them from an egg
The halflings are triumphant (praise them)!!! The Dark Lord has fallen!!!! But the book ISN'T over???? SBG continues the quest of RETURN OF THE KING, talking about lights in windows and trying to figure out what Middle-Earth praise music might sound like: rangedtouch.com/2026/07/31/t...
Disappointing this article does not highlight the fact the ABS recommended counting gender identity for all people, but Albanese intervened contrary to their advice to only ask this question of people 16 and over. Thanks to him, trans kids won't be counted. #auspol 1/ www.smh.com.au/politics/fed...
We’ve never known the size of the trans community. That’s about to change
Following a Labor backdown and years of advocate lobbying, new questions on gender and sexuality will be included in the August 11 census.

Mildura doesn’t get a false spring the way Melbourne does (we’re too far inland) so the fact it’s too hot to weed the garden in anything more than a tank top at the start of August is NOT a good sign re: how hot our upcoming summer is about to be
We all have that one homie who scholars theorize was not a single individual, but a collection of different authors
Rather than being mad about the way cis authors depict trans guys in sex scenes, I should have just shared my transmasc reader/Pyramid Head Silent Hill horror erotica. It's about constructed bodies, working a shit job, masculinity, and loving a dangerous home town archiveofourown.org/works/51608860

While I understand old books get destroyed all the time, I also think it's fine to get mad at the AI guys for doing it. You can get mad at the AI guys for any reason. It's allowed
"He topped the whimpering twink in his MASCULINE, MANLY, ULTRA-MACHO Lightning McQueen themed bedroom."
LRT: Oh god, I just had the realisation that M/M fandom spaces might be the one place in culture (??) where trans men are hypervisible and fetishised while trans women are totally erased? It sure would be nice if cis people could be normal about any of our bodies and see us as people for like 2 secs
I want to preface this thread with a little bit about me. I read a ton of M/M when I was young. I grew up reading M/M books from authors like Anne Rice and Mercedes Lackey. So I am not a stranger to enjoying M/M, even though I now almost exclusively focus on books that center W/W romance.
'And the act of my wife kissing me on my head or the fact that two women had got married was enough for some people to go, "Yeah, that's it. I'm out." The most genuinely uncomfortable thing is the same community that dropped me for kissing my wife are probably the same that are reading M/M romance.'
ATTENTION: She is sleeping soooooooo cutely
Dog names that have been deciphered from ancient Egyptian dog mummies(!). Menyupu (‘He is a Shepherd’) Pehtes (‘Blacky’), Ankhu (‘Living One’), Neb (‘The Lordly One’), Behkai (‘Antelope’), Hekenu (‘Exultation’), Abutiyuw (‘Pointed Ears’) Tegra (‘Kettle-black’) and Aya (‘Woofer’).
They asked me my AI policy I said it's just two words and the first one is fuck
I spent the evening playing with our beautiful cat Milly and was reminiscing about how far she’s come since we first rescued her. Which meant nostalgically recalling the one time she went for my throat, which is a behaviour I would’ve happily put money on a house cat NEVER EXHIBITING
We got a door from the tip shop so we could put a cat flap in it, which is way better for all-hours catio access during winter than constantly opening and closing the door. However, only one of our six cats has figured out how to use the cat flap, so now I’m constantly opening the cat flap for them
Birds do it Bees do it Other creatures in the trees do it Let's do it Let's create a residential structure using our own saliva
measuring data centres by "chadstones" is the most terrifying unit of measurement possible in australia
For those who don't know Melbourne's south east, this is a data centre that is six times larger than the largest shopping centre in the southern hemisphere (and worst in the world).
We should all be so lucky that we have such a robust body of work that our kinks can be easily identified by dedicated readers.

Incredibly charming moment at trivia last night where a blokey bloke (a 'Howard was our greatest prime minister' guy) was embarrassed by a newcomer who "just didn't get" my obviously transgender tattoo and who kept asking me to explain it. He was determined to insulate me from her, it was very sweet
I went to the Mildura AEU rally today with my partner (a first year teacher) and it turns out going to all those climate and Aboriginal justice rallies in my twenties has paid off (loudest person doing the chants)
I can NEVER REMEMBER WHAT SIDE TO DRAW THE BUTTONS ON so I made this, stuck it by my desk, and now consult it enough times a day that I think I need to stick it on a more ergonomic part of the wall
Ages ago when my editor was looking over the thumbs for my book she left a note on one page saying "beautiful use of the form!" and I'm never gonna stop chasing that high
