I don't know why I find this so amusing. These serrano pepper plants were about 8" tall when I put them out in June/July, and I'm hoping to overwinter them inside.

I was using em dashes before genAI was, and AI uses them because the works they scraped by real human authors used em dashes. If I stop using em dashes, AI wins.

Last week's procedure, I was awake and ready to go in 15 minutes. This week's procedure was the same kind of anesthesia, but I was out of it for hours after, despite the nurse's efforts to wake me. Either the anesthesiologist got a little excited, or I was difficult. Wouldn't be the first time.
Of all the problems in publishing, perhaps the biggest problem is that they're not showing up at my house to get my novel, publish it, and make me rich and famous. #WritingCommunity
