Work laptop has had a lovely new battery installed & had a general interior clean up. Thought my tech woes were over. Wrong. The internal AI has uninstalled itself & having reinstalled it the things I was working on on Friday have disappeared. I hate AI.
Had to download yet another multi factor authenticator app. Can we all decide on 1 app for each thing? I don't need multiple parking, medical, authentication, travel, parcel delivery etc apps. Stupid competition laws just make life more complicated.
Tonight is my first time seeing Tim Key live & omg he is funny. Would recommend. V swear tho so not fot young ears.
Treated my car to a mini valet instead of the usual wash today, and had the humiliation of not knowing how to put my seat back into the right position. In my defence it's electric buttons that I've not pressed since I bought the car 7 months ago. I shall not be getting a mini valet again.
At Somerset House for tonight's Laughterama event. Didn't know it's outdoors!
After yesterday's laptop shenanigans this morning it's doing a giant update. What's the betting it's undone all of yesterday's fixes?
Something is wrong with my work laptop that's making it run super slow & it's impossible to get any work done. Shame.
Newly unveiled Great British Railways Anglia & my train is cancelled with no info on why π
We didn't win the Grays by-elections last night but neither did Reform so I guess it's not an awful result. Unexpected Burnham bounce had Labour taking both seats. #VoteGreen
This is horrific. No matter what a person's views, no one should have this happen to them. BBC News - Ann Widdecombe was hit on head repeatedly with hammer, prosecutors say www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Someone posting in the group chat that the group needs to do something about X without volunteering to actually do something about X has really annoyed me today
Poor little Dribbles the Cat has had her thyroidectomy. She's full of beans post-op & she's still got her meow. Everything looks positive. Too soon to tell if it will sort her skin & liver issues but I'm happy with progress so far.
Canvassers out in force in Clacton.
I ran away to Margate yesterday, visited the Crab Museum and other things, it was great. Back to reality with a thump today.
The creator of Roger Rabbit (who is 85 years old by the way) is a good sort Crossposted with @openvibe.social
Another day, another waste of time sitting in zoom waiting for someone to join.
Isn't great when you ask for help with something because of a personal emergency and the answer is what does it involve and I can't really help instead of don't worry it'll get dealt with. It's no wonder I don't often ask for help. I very seldom get it.
Twice today people haven't turned up for meetings so I'm now working late today & Wednesday to have replacement meetings. No I'm not happy about it.
Looks like my entire team is off today. Would have been nice if someone had let me know I'd be in my own. I guess there's only one thing to do

No Sunday morning spin class today so I booked a circuits class. Hasn't started yet and I'm very much regretting my decision. I hate circuits classes.
Someone today estimated my age as 34 - I'm going to be 55 next month! The power of HRT should not be underestimated!

Let's get Pauline elected in Grays!

We need hundreds of volunteers. We did it in Gorton and Denton, and we can do it in Greater Manchester." Join co-Deputy Leader Mothin Ali in Manchester this Saturday.
Currently laying on the kitchen floor if anyone is wondering how the heat is affecting me today
Yes it would be objectively funny if Farage lost to Binface, but that would mean he (Farage) would get away with it & be able to play the victim card. He (Farage) needs to win so the investigation(s) continue & he can be held to account. People of Clacton - do the right thing, not the funny thing.
In the office today. First act of the day - spill coffee down my top. Second act of the day - make it worse by trying to wash it in the bathroom but ending up with a very wet top. It's not 9am yet.
Volunteer day at Morrisons in Grays for Thurrock Fiid Bank. Say hello if you see me! (and donate food pls!)
