Kind of an awkward PSA because I've had some artist mutuals recommend these sites/tools, but "ai image detection" tools are snake oil, and I feel like nobody bothered to scrutinize them. So I opened photoshop cs6, drew a smiley face, and uploaded it to the "accurate" detector:
On a happier note, I've beaten Fire Emblem Awakening....again. And I'm celebrating kicking Fell Dragon asses by redrawing Lucina's FEH artwork. I also used the Ylisse background from the same game (doesn't mean I'm returning to FEH, screw gachas). Now wish me luck as I tackle Fates. #fireemblem
Let me tell you how much I DO NOT LIKE ILLUSTRATOR AT ALL. It's a vector based program, meaning images don't drop in quality when you load them. Cool, right? It would be cooler if the big fucking "crop image" button actually CROPPED THE FUCKING IMAGE WHEN I NEED IT TO. I HATE ADOBE I HATE ADOBE.

I saw a few of those AI blocklists, but I'm skeptical of actually using them since a few real artists are being flagged by 'em. Idk if they're automated or something, but I think they need to be remedied.

SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW - a film done dirty. Made for $17M in B&W, the studio paid another $17M to colorize it. An overzealous producer inflated the budget numbers in an interview to $70M to look like a big shot. The result was the movie looked like a bomb rather than a modest success.

Update: I just beat Final Horizon and my friends played cartoon opening songs the entire time. Then someone played Spanish dance music or whatever and I locked in the exact moment that played. This game is magical and I wouldn't have wanted it to end any other way.

The music and the hypercolored ui jumpscared us and we played with it for 20 minutes before figuring out how to turn it off. It was the funniest birthday gift I've ever received.
