On this day in 1940, Montreal Mayor Camillien Houde was arrested and charged with sedition for urging Quebec men to ignore conscription measures. He remained in an internment camp until 1944. When he returned to Montreal , 50,000 Montrealers greeted him.

We are still unpacking some boxes from our last move and came across this pic. From L to R it’s Larry, David & Adam. Larry & David were put down due to extreme old age, and I ended up having to re-home Adam when I developed an allergy to cats from chemo. I really loved those guys. #Cats #CatSky
