Yōten now supports @ mentions! Mention people in study sessions and replies to keep conversations moving.

I had people requesting sign languages and the previous system couldn't support it due to a hard-coded list of ISO 639-1 language codes. Supporting all of ISO 639-3 is a huge step forward and much needed work into creating a more supportive environment for learners of all languages.

Inspired by the work being done by @ilynxcat.me and @mmatt.net, Yōten's login page got a refresh! The login input now has a handle type-ahead to make finding your handle easier in addition to a new helpful modal to inform users what the ATmosphere is!

A number of potential users found the previous permission set invasive, which it unfortunately was. With the introduction of permission sets, Yōten now only requires permissions to modify its own lexicons!

Hey @kagi.com! Do you guys have any plans on a Kagi maps mobile app - even if it does redirect to google/apple maps for directions. It's a little painful being sent a Kagi maps link and it opening in the browser, auth'ing, then loading 😅

I've only had good experiences with Kagi Translate. I'm very impressed with the quality (English <> Korean). Finally a use of AI that's practical! Its ability to translate based on provided context, tone, and speakers gender blew me away. Not to mention it's cultural hints when translating.
