I also appreciate what @brownmoney.bsky.social said in an interview - that first generation immigrants really have the most interesting stories to tell. Like when I think about my South Indian mom and what she had to go through in the 80s to adapt and survive in western culture… it’s insane.
This game genuinely made me cry and it features a cool song at the end and so many cool recipes throughout the story. Would highly recommend

Venba made me ugly cry. It's an emotional take on the experience of being from different generations in diaspora. And the featured dishes are anazing! The soundtrack too. I would recommend it to anyone.

3️⃣0️⃣ Venba. Short, sweet and lovely. I was expecting a game about cooking delicious Indian food. I got a game about cooking delicious Indian food with an emotional story at its heart. Finished it in one sitting, aside from a break to get food because it made me so hungry. You should play it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
