A European capital city, in a country that's an ally of NATO, spent this morning retrieving bodies, saving the wounded, grieving, & despairing at the US in particular for giving Russia the green light to murder when it wishes. Day 1624. Is the fight for good vs evil abandoned?
Last night, Russia attacked a European capital with over 40 ballistic missiles. That leads nowhere in European news headlines this morning. Russian terror, murder and destruction are simply taken in stride as a normal story.
"It was a difficult decision to share this photo. A Russian missile wiped out an entire family. Will this image stop the war? Most likely not. But I believe the world needs to see the truth.
ZELENSKYY: Every pure heart in the world is hoping for just one thing from Ukraine — that we will defeat this Russian scum. And we will. We will certainly defend our state. We will certainly defend our independence and Ukraine’s sovereignty.
Overnight Russian attack on Kyiv update: The death toll has risen to 18‼️ Another 85 people have been injured, including 2 children. Bastards. Fucking terrorists.
Zelensky arrived in Ireland to attend the opening ceremony of Ireland’s EU Council presidency. He will meet Prime Minister Micheál Martin and European Council President António Costa, saying Ukraine hopes to open all EU negotiation clusters. #Ukraine
It's Day 1573 and the attempted genocide by Russia continued through the night. Killing the people of Ukraine, its first responders and the most sacred religious site in the country. The world looks on, shaking its head. If Putin's Nazism isn't stopped, it will reach you soon.
Ireland: occupied for centuries by imperial invaders who brutally suppressed their language & identity; endured torture, murder, sexual violence, hunger. They bravely resisted & live free today. More than anyone in Western Europe, Ireland should understand & stand with Ukraine.
Britain has accused its neighbour Ireland of being too lax with Russians. What's that got to do with the UK anyway? There is free travel between the two countries - and Dublin does little to track potential spies according to London, writes the Sunday Telegraph.
Twenty six, incl a toddler girl & a 10yo boy, were injured in a brutal overnight bombing of Dnipro. For 6h, russians shook the city w drones, ballistics & cruise missiles. Isn't it terrifying that this daily violence stopped being newsworthy? Silence kills. Photo Hromadske.
The aim of the war is no longer regime change. The aim of the war is now to convince people this wasn't a mistake in the first place.
I think that at this stage it is already a settled matter that the future of Europe’s security lies in a direct military, economic, and technological alliance with Ukraine + a unified European nuclear deterrent.
Russia needs to be punished for helping Iran target American forces. Here's how. warontherocks.com/2026/03/puni...
Punish Russia for Helping Iran Target the U.S. Military
In the second week of March, U.S. President Donald Trump insisted that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to be “helpful” in the Middle East. More

🇺🇸❗️🇺🇦 UP sources: "In fact, after Anchorage, USA ceased to be not only an ally, but even a pure intermediary for Ukraine. A mediator has no pre-agreed position with one side, and does not use leverage on the other side, even threatening to block intelligence exchanges or arms sales."
MEDIA HAS VERY SENSITIVE FOOTAGE Russia kills Ukrainians in a human “safari”
Phillips is completely right here. It is absurd to repeat an obviously false framing. And it is harmful, because once stated in the NYT it becomes credible.
Very disappointed by the @nytimes.com framing here. Two allies of the Russian economy had their sanctions lifted, using the pretense of the oil price. Lifting sanctions on these two individuals will not make any difference to world oil prices. It’s ludicrous and a gift to Putin.
The US is attacking Iran. Russia is helping Iran target US forces. For all we know Russia is co-responsible for the deaths of US soldiers. And yet Trump has made Russia the main winner of the war thus far by lifting oil sanctions. I can’t think of anything like this.
Who else would have an interest in high oil prices, strained NATO relations, and distractions from Ukraine? @wsj.com www.wsj.com/world/russia...
Ukraine is holding back Russia and thus fulfilling the entire traditional mission of NATO without any soldiers or sailors from other countries. Trump is meanwhile demanding NATO allies leave the continent they are supposed to be defending to join him in a doomed adventure he chose in the Middle East
Don’t think the times of war are over. The peace and safety of Europeans last only while Ukraine stands. Don’t let history repeat itself.
After the sanctions were lifted, russia quickly returned to its old routine attacking Ukraine with nearly 500 missiles and drones. Please, world, do not get used to this. Do not stay silent.
It turns out that if you help Ukraine with modern highly effective missiles - and stop trembling in fear of Putin and burying Ukraine under endless absurd restrictions - Russia starts losing key military factories and weapons one after another. It becomes less capable of continuing this war.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAGAHAHAHAHAHA
If there has been one consistent rule over the last year it was that those who have argued that Trump might be ok, not so bad, convinced to do the right thing, etc....have been completely and utterly wrong time and time again.
🇩🇪🇺🇸 Pistorius: "Unfortunately, the American president influenced the course of the war and Putin's self-confidence when he rolled out the red carpet for him and welcomed him as a friend in Alaska, while completely cutting off military support for Ukraine."
The defining face of the first day of the full-scale invasion is Ukrainian marine Vitalii Skakun. He heroically sacrificed his life by blowing up a bridge in Henichesk to slow the advancing Russian columns.
When memory is punished, and aggression rewarded — that is moral failure.
Russia's war on Ukraine passed a grim milestone on 13 January: it has now lasted longer than the 1,418 days the Soviet Union spent fighting Nazi Germany. 🔗 euromaidanpress.com/2026/01/16/r...
