Perhaps we should be asking why an organization with 18 billion worth of debt is allowed to purchas another company
EA officially goes private tonight, meaning: - EA will no longer trade on the NASDAQ for the first time in 36 years - All stockholders of EA (including many employees) will receive $210/share - EA will take on $18 billion (!) in debt, putting it on the hook to pay ~$1.8 billion/year in interest
there was a moment during the Preston Park gig where someone at the front showed Nick Cave a weird handmade doll and it genuinely put the shites up him lol
Just found out my mum has roped my neighbours into helping tidy my front garden up which has created an impossible level of anxiety within me
July's 'What I've Been Playing' video will be approximately a week late due to me bunking off to go to a gig and also I need to do a couple of rewrites on account of not doing appropriate research
Nick Cave performing like it's his last night on Earth. Sensational show. Completely blindsided by a surprise guest singer too!
One thing video games have over film is collecting shards. Regardless of how big Christopher Nolan goes with his camera, his movies will never allow us to collect shards.
Nothing puts the fear of God into me like my mother texting me about problems in my house when I'm halfway across the country lol
Didn't realize that Incident at Galley House was a remake of Type Help. That game has been on my radar for a while but I never played it. Kind of glad now, as it would have probably dampened the impact of the newer version for me but I'm interested in going back to it to see what the differences are
just had a great few hours tooling around in Rita, a crossword puzzle platformer. Hard to put down. store.steampowered.com/app/2984850/...

Rita is a cozy adventure where a little chicklet solves word-based puzzles to transform the world around her. Follow her story across generations, meet her grandchicklet, and be a part of her legacy.

Hey! We're releasing three more physical video games: the excellent Sektori, Dread Delusion and Easy Delivery Co, all with lavish artwork, packaging and extras. Thrilled to work with @spadgy.bsky.social, @thewillarowe.bsky.social and @ultrabrilliant.xyz on the essay booklets. www.lostincult.co.uk

Didn't quite make it into my nextfest video but the demo for this was very cool. I've been smashing through Dread Delusion at a rate of knots this month so I'm well up for more fleshy weirdness
I'm terrified of all the games releasing next month, that is an absurd release schedule, but one that I'm particularly looking forward to is the new game from the Dread Delusion developer, Entropy.
Watching Marty Supreme. Pains me to say this but the evil Safdie brother is incredibly talented
Just got to a big holy fuck moment in Galley House, this is going to be a total arseache to talk about without spoiling it
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 is deeply embarrassing at times
The Incident at Galley House has big Stuart Turton energy. I'm having a great time with this.
Bounced off this the first time I played it a few years back, now I can't get enough of it. At least as good as Downwell, if not better!
POINPY IS BACK! 🎉 And now it's FREE! No ads, no paid unlocks, just the full game. There's a tip option if you feel like it 😉 Available NOW on iOS and Android!
but they already made a historically accurate version of the odyssey?
NEW POST: Wrote some thoughts about Christopher Nolan's latest:
Some brief thoughts on The Odyssey | Static Canvas
I'm not one for hyperbole, and especially when it comes to Christopher Nolan I think a lot of his fanbase need to have a word with themselve

Just saw one of my colleagues at lunch chug a pot of yogurt like a pint lol
Finished Rejection this morning. A really fascinating short story collection. Beautifully written but also painfully contemporary to the degree that I think it's level of reference is going to be lost on future generations. There's a reference to Bean Dad in it lol
I'm not posting Odyssey memes because one must be wary of GIFs bearing Greeks.
