Yesterday, one of my clients (a retired airman who graduated from the USAFA) said he looked up the Democratic Socialists of America’s political priorities: “They want healthcare for everyone, to reduce housing costs and stronger labor unions. All those make sense to me.”

My mom craved a Filet-O-Fish today, so I went to McDonald’s. I was shocked it costs nearly $8. ($6.99 minus CA tax.) In 2019, the avg price was $4. Can’t be tariff-related since the fish is allegedly wild caught in Alaska. Adjusted for inflation (since ‘19) it should cost $5.19.

This story was written a decade ago btw. If you didn’t see any of these details in today’s coverage of Bobby Cox’s death, that says a lot about today’s sports media landscape.
