Once a day, at a seemingly random time, my PS3 will turn itself on to check for software updates and then turn itself off again. This process takes about 20 seconds. Due to the logic of my A/V setup, when this happens it will preempt whatever I'm actually doing and switch my TV to the PS3 input.
