RAMpocalypse : IA matière à paniquer

Depuis mes tout premiers articles sur le monde de la tech en 1993, je n’ai jamais vu une crise de cette ampleur. On a bien rigolé (jaune) pendant la pandémie, mais ça restait des caresses par rapport à ce que nous inflige l'explosion de l'IA générative. Pourquoi la RAM est à ces prix stratosphériques ? À quel moment l'achat d'un SSD se permet de gifler votre portefeuille ? Quelles sont les conséquences pour les différents marchés de la tech ? Nous allons faire un tour d’horizon de ce chaos et tenter de savoir quand cette folie s'arrêtera. Et accessoirement, pourquoi un fabricant japonais de mayonnaise est mêlé à tout ça…

It's somewhat like a big laptop, just with the AMiga's usual form factor with the sloping keyboard, a clamshell CD cover that I presume lifts next to the keyboard and a flat LCD screen. There#s a somewhat awkward hollow in the black plastic next to the screen to house the CD player cover when the lid is pulled down. It's somewhat halfway between a true laptop and a luggable.
