Watching "Nine to Five" in the background and replaying the "copier scene" over and over because it always makes me laugh. It's such a classic "technology comedy" scene. When the person is overwhelmed, what do they do? Start pressing random buttons. How is that gonna help?! π

This video makes great points. He calls chatbots a "friendship simulator" and it's a big reason I've avoided looking into them at all. Since COVID, especially, I have struggled making local friends. But I'll take being lonely and a little depressed about it vs. relying on a reassuring chatbot/app.

In the "we're early for the call" moments of our last stand up meeting, a co-worker mentioned that he was experimenting with a firewall to block ads on his home internet and when he did, *so many* sites were unusable. His wife and kids both saying, "This site won't load anymore". That's wild.
Don't want to tell the spammers how to do their job, but maybe they should coordinate a bit. Got 4 different spam emails in a row, each telling me how they'd gotten access to my computer and recorded me masturbating, and I don't have the heart to tell them my camera is only connected when I stream.
Is it weird that when these kinds of demos are available, I almost wanna just play them FIRST then go into the full game? Reminds me of how i started games as a kid
