Actually yeah, my old 2016 symbolic TF art slapped so hard, what a cool time to be in the fandom it was! Made so many lifelong friendships by rotating these fictional metal guys in my head

Periodic reminder that in the 1600s and 1700s, Russian traders in Alaska introduced the Tlingit to Qing coins which became a valued regional trade good. The Tlingit began integrating them into body armor which I think is pretty awesome.

I drew a new outfit for my lancer ttrpg character in tonight's stream! Our campaign is doing a 2 year timeskip so I wanted to show all the hobbies she's been getting into. Also some older art from few years ago like her mech and first ref sheet. Also some thermal stickers I made this weekend!

Concept colored sketch of an outfit design of my lancer ttrpg character! She's weather a tech wear inspired outfit with a long black skirt with a split down the side, revealing a see-through teal material. She has on a colorful form fitting crop top accented with a black harness. Loosely hanging off the shoulder is a fuschia gradient jacket. The shoes are big and chunky and are light teal and orange with black straps. She's stylish in that streamer/vtuber kind of energy.Colored concept sketch of my lancer ttrpg character's mech! Nased off the Kidd model from the official lancer ttrpg mech compendium.Reference sheet of my ttrpg character nabia. She looks like a basic bitch anime girl but with sci-fi greebling and Grey skin.
I like to think she has the energy of a hateful small dog in the body of a cat.Photo of some home printed thermal printer label stickers, roughly cut out. My ttrpg character is dabbing while looking traumatized and not well adjusted. It's cute.

I’m RNA girl. In the RNA world. Amino acids. It’s fantastic. Screw the Hadean air. The black smoker is where. Methylation. Life is in creation. Come on, chem sis. Let’s do abiogenesis. Oo, whoa. Come on, chem sis. Let’s do abiogenesis.

Reference vs Art Perhaps more simple than the previous pieces in this chain, but the raw cat reference did make me laugh. Shoutout to losgom's 3D animal models which I got off the CSP asset store. They're all free and have been very helpful, as silly as this looks.

A screenshot of a posed 3D model of a cat. It is posed awkwardly, with its mouth is open and it is running.A drawing of a gryphon composed of a terror bird and a smilodon. It is hunting a small mammal, charging towards the viewer with wings spread and beak open. The text in the bottom right reads: "cait-sith@tumblr" and "cait-sithe@bsky".

Reference vs Art I join in with "your reference can look entirely ridiculous and still give you great information". DAZ 3D + Blender. I'm a very strong believer in making your own references. Whether it's selfies, 3D software, traditional sculpting, friends posing... there are so many great ways

An art from a monthly art challange with people. The topic was Scale. Personally, I briefly referenced the greek mythology of the stymphalian bird; a voracious avian creature with a bronze beak and feather made of sharp metal.
