Another pink-haired Link from this July 1986, multi-Famicom-game, strategy guide I'm scanning. I've been saying it forever: it's super-not-a-mystery that Link eventually had pink hair in a game. pepesilviameme.gif #zelda 裏ワザ スーパーテクニック3, ISBN 4-522-01755-3

A watercolor and ink illustration of Link from the original legend of Zelda. It's him from the bust up. His shield is up, his sword is drawn back behind his head, and he has a determined look on his face. he's left handed but has round ears, which is common in a lot of early licensed art. He has pink hair and a brown, long-sleeve, turtleneck. He looks like an older teen. There is an angry zora monster imposed behind him. But it's done in the style like it's actually meant to be what Link sees in front of him. It's pink with red lips and blue fins.
