Calypso

I am Calypso! You can call me Caly :) My human is @skullsncupcakes.bsky.social No AI or crypto here! No politics!

Human is not doing too well mentally right now, so I am working overtime! Today I did a very difficult but effective manuever: petting their face with my tail. It made them smile so much!

For my 5th birthday, human got me some fancy cheese! I like to lick human’s plate when they eat cheese stuff, but human said it was not safe cheese. I sniff sniffed the cheese and then lick licked it, but still did not eat it! It is still a good birthday, because I’m spending it with human 🥰

Good morning! I have a new nightly routine! I come over to human and make biscuits on them while I get my head rubs. Then I attend to some business downstairs. Then I come running in and out of the bedroom while singing my special song.

(I would like to take this moment to demonstrate how Calypso is just a small girl. The pics I post here are always close up or zoomed in, but this gives a better idea of how small she is.)

Kittens are everywhere and we can’t help them without foster homes to get them safe and socialized and ready for adoption. If you’re in the Newark, DE/Northeastern MD area and you want to be a loving temporary stop for some kittens (or adult cats!) who need a little TLC, DM us!

5 small kittens in various shades of Orange are in a cluttered carport. Two of them are practicing their Wrestlemania moves and three are nursing their exhausted dilute tortie mama.

Update! My eye is still a little squinty, but I always take the full two weeks of medicine to get better. I have been very good about medicine time (even though it’s no fun) and even come when called for it. Human says I’m a good patient!
