pink muhly grass absolutely throwing ass today. how do you pronounce muhly? i don’t know. im not going to read your comments if you tell me, im going to wait for it to come up in a real person conversation and just give it a shot. the risk of embarrassment is what gives life its spark

a few bunches of pink muhly grass, blush seed plumes gleaming in the morning sun, against a backdrop of buckeye and dead leaves on the ground. i planted them this spring and they’re not very tall, leaving me slightly disappointed and considering a phlox carpet to flank them. im wearing the white sheet ghost costume for halloween and have double checked to make sure it looks ‘spooky fuckin ghost’ and not like, ya know, anything else. go vote early if you can. have a blessed day.

My heart is heavy. Walter Koenig, our Ensign Pavel Chekov, passed away early today. Walter and I met on the bridge of the Enterprise in the 1960s, and we stayed friends for nearly six decades. When Brad and I married in 2008, Walter stood beside us as our best man.

I swear, the overvaluing baseball people do in general … I’m truly over reading any trade proposal in which the Orioles are encouraged to *not deal* Kjerstad. Friends, I would trade Heston Kjerstad for a new vending machine at the spring training facility at this point.
