The biggest barrier of those in the disability community is that which denies them the same quality of life the able-bodieds enjoy. For some reason there is an undercurrent of insistence those whose lives are lived differently should be expected to accept a lower standard of living.

The answer is #Mounjaro will cost me $225/month now that the #Medicare donut hole has been eliminated. I paid $11/month in 2024!!! How can I afford my #diabetes medication? That’s simple: I can’t! And #LillyCares doesn’t offer a #PAP for Mounjaro. #WTF #Lilly ???

My #diabetes medication is #Mounjaro. It also helps my #raredisease called #mecfs. I paid $11 a month for the drug in 2024 until I went into the #Medicare donut hole and my copay increased to $227. Since the donut hole is eliminated in 2025, what do you think the drug will cost me each month?
