It’s hard to explain but tv was better when you couldn’t watch the show you wanted whenever you wanted to watch it and most of the shows were worse and the TVs were worse and the entire experience was worse, that’s when it was better

My new X-Men action figure stop motion animation clip, featuring Cable and Apocalypse. One of my favorite things about the ‘90s show was Apocalypse CONSTANTLY spitting bars anytime he was on screen. Standing around, fighting, relaxing…didn’t matter, he was talking his trash.
X-Men ‘97 is GREAT when it takes its time, paces itself, and lets plot points breathe with the gravitas and emotion they deserve. It’s significantly more nonsensical when they decide to burn through months- or years-long comic plots in a very short time just to “play the hits” and remove stakes.

After the trailer for the animated movie last week, I got inspired to do some stop motion with the Knightfall figures. This one is my “vibes” project, I need to continue it. I also need to re-read the story ahead of the movie.
Had a good time last night. I enjoyed Supergirl, thought the casting of Kara and Lobo were great. I liked how different she was from Clark, it’s cool having a highly optimistic kryptonian to balance out this one who is so clearly dealing with depression all her life.
Pretty hyped for this. I love that they went with a really Kelley Jones-ish art direction.

About halfway through my DOOM Dark Ages replay. Nightmare is no joke, even with the extra lives. My new controller is v nice, still getting used to using paddles in place of R3/L3
Starting another playthrough of DOOM: The Dark Ages before the DLC comes out next month. Controller stick is causing me to drift and spin around while playing, not ideal for nightmare. Died in the first level. New PS5 controller on the agenda for tomorrow.
