I'd argue that, for the metrics, it's vastly MORE important that viewers turn this off. There's more viewers than streamers, so even if every streamer turned this off, if viewers don't, the executives can still claim that "most users don't care" and cram it down our throats even harder. Opt out.

If you have a Twitch account, even if you don't stream, this is well worth logging in and turning off.

Some people survive off fucking MAILING LISTS somehow. Reach is only useful if it reaches something you want. Views only matter if they're meaningful.
The "some" here in this case is Twitch rebranding algorithms or machine learning as "AI" (sponsorship support, recommendations, automod, stuff like that). It's not generative AI uses, as far as I can tell.

I highly recommend adding the "AIOptedOut" community tag to your Twitch community tags to let people know if you've opted out of Amazon's AI training on Twitch
