Current FCC rules prohibit foreign investors from owning >25% of company that holds US broadcast licenses. However, foreign investors (mostly Gulf funds) expected to indirectly own nearly 50% of Paramount equity post-WB deal. And Paramount now asking FCC to approve "up to 100%" foreign ownership
