Three years ago, my dad said that all fish are the same shape. Out of spite, I decided to draw all 478 families of bony fish listed in Nelson 2016. There's still some stuff I need to edit and some fish I want to redraw but, after 985 days, I finished my big dumb fish project last night.
In addition to having the entirety of my sculpting book stolen by Anthropic, the people that steal my dragon planters now use gen AI to sell their horrible rip offs on Am*zon and eB*y. Please support me directly by purchasing from my shop at VerdantSculpts.com, the only place my work is sold.

Tiny triangle journal! This is about 2.25” long x 1.50” high. I have always wanted to turn the extra scraps of paper from other projects into a tiny journal. This was a fun one! #copticstitchbinding #trianglejournal #tinyjournal
Lightfoot, Nelson & Stephens: “long-term maintenance of coastal prairie and other ecosystems in Tribal lands…was largely the product of deliberate human intervention undertaken to augment the diversity and availability of culturally important plants and animals.” www.researchgate.net/publication/...
It's time to vote, because we need to do the hard work of digging out facist, racist ticks embedded in our government next so we can then take on knocking down oligarchs.

We do this in our family calling it the joy. Big events, memories, funny things, accomplishments all go in on a slop of paper with date and we read on New Year's day at end of year. We tape the slips into a journal. Collaborative joy team microblogging family style.
