This movie is baffling. Milla is supposed to be reenacting actually real footage, but the "real" footage is also made up for the movie and they show them on screen at the same time. So it's just two versions of the same things, one just in higher resolution with a hotter actor.

That was the 5th best Spider-Man movie. That's pretty good! Really loved Spidey and the Punisher. The Hulk's cameo was also great. He got to do cool Hulk stuff like the stomp earthquake thing and the sonic boom clap.

This post made me think of Shadowrun and the time my character sniped a dragon. I had to look up the gun. Pretty sure it was this one. Not a lot is soaking 14S damage in Shadowrun 2e. Also, I love having just about every game I've played immediately on hand on the shelf next to me.

Hi there, and welcome to #FridayFucksorSucks, a weekly game with simple rules: guns fuck, or they suck. This week, the Tracking Point XS1. A bolt action "precision guided" rifle chambered in .338 Lapua and powered by Linux. Automatically accurate out to 1200 meters, cost $27000 when new.

The gun from many angles looks like a semi-standard bolt action rifle. The optic is the real magic here, though, and you can see from any front angle that the optic has a strange suite of sensors where you'd expect normal optical glass to go.

Spent three days camping in Voyageurs this weekend. When we were coming out yesterday we saw around TEN houseboats on their way out packed with bikini girls and dudes in board shorts. Seemed to be sorority and frat kids. I suspect this is more a mutant animal attack scenario than a slasher.

Aside from, "this bronze age is collapsing" dialogue, I thought The Odyssey was pretty great. Very smart to focus on the role of hospitality in the ancient world instead of just making it an adventure story. Big chunks of the Bible are also misunderstood if you discount the role of hospitality.
