Nearly every one of El-Sayed's issue positions is supported by a majority. In fact, his stands are the center of American politics today. Saying he is far left/left wing is just so old. The center of American politics has moved over the last 30 years, and El-Sayed's position are center now.
The petition to force a House floor vote on permanent status for people brought here as children sits 8 names short of the 218 it needs, and hasn’t moved since July 23. Every House seat is on the 2026 ballot, so the question now goes to the candidates asking for your vote.
Pass the DREAM Act
Grant permanent status and a clear path to citizenship for people brought to this country as children. DACA is a stopgap one administration created and another can end; Congress has had bipartisan majorities for the underlying policy for twenty years and has never managed to vote on a clean bill.
