looks like metro's new subway trains are back in service after a few weeks - for anyone looking to ride one toggle the "vehicle" layer on @catenarymaps.org and look for a 400 series vehicle on the D Line to see its location

Finally got to ride one of Metro’s brand new HR4000 subway trains! So excited for more of these to enter service and for some shiny new stations to open for them in Mid City and Beverly Hills later this year! 🚇✨🤩

Pasadena Transit is free Friday 10 January 2025, on reduced service. Los Angeles Metro is also free for all underground, tram, and bus service. Santa Monica Big Blue Bus is free for the rest of the week, including Sunday 12 January. A Line still using shuttle buses between Filmore & SW Museum.
